Frame Architecture, Inc is seeking a licensed Architect ready to step into a Principal‑level leadership role with a clear, structured path to firm ownership . This opportunity is designed for an architect who doesn't just lead projects—but wants to lead a company . Founded in 2003 , Frame Architecture has built a strong regional reputation through work in commercial, multi‑family, public works, and industrial sectors . With the founding Principal planning to retire within five years , the firm is intentionally positioning its next leader to assume full operational authority and eventual ownership . This is not an associate or senior architect role. It is a chance to run a practice , shape culture, and guide the firm into its next era. Leadership Role Direct day‑to‑day firm operations Lead client relationships, contracts, and business execution Assign and manage staff and project teams Oversee recruitment, procurement, and resource planning Set expectations for quality, accountability, and delivery Partner with the founder on strategic transition and ownership planning Compensation & Ownership Competitive base compensation Premium profit sharing Profit share may be applied toward equity acquisition Defined ownership transition aligned with a five‑year succession plan Who You Are Licensed Architect (U.S.) Proven leader with strong operational instincts Comfortable making decisions, setting direction, and owning outcomes Entrepreneurial by nature, with a desire to build and steward a firm Interested in legacy, mentorship, and long‑term impact A Note from the Founder After more than two decades of building this firm, I'm ready to transition leadership thoughtfully and intentionally. I'm looking for someone who wants more than a title—someone who wants responsibility, ownership, and the opportunity to lead a firm as their own . My goal is to support that transition, then step back knowing the firm is in capable, committed hands.
