Job Description
Senior Architect
- Akron, Ohio, USA (Filipino Nationals Preferred) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Akron.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements.
- Work closely with contractors to ensure proper implementation of design plans.
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on projects.
- Keep updated with industry trends, codes, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Biometric passport for international travel may be required for occasional client meetings abroad.
