Job Description

Senior Architect
  • Akron, Ohio, USA (Filipino Nationals Preferred) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Akron.
As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various architectural projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
  • Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure proper implementation of design plans.
  • Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on projects.
  • Keep updated with industry trends, codes, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Biometric passport for international travel may be required for occasional client meetings abroad.
