Job Description
A full-service architectural and interior design firm, located in Chicago, is looking to add a Project Architect to their team! Project Architect - Job Description The Project Architect will lead and support all phases of design and documentation for renovation projects, with a focus on lab/pharmaceutical facilities and corporate interiors. This role involves producing complete construction document sets in AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating closely with clients, project teams, and consultants, and actively participating in construction administration. Responsibilities Assist in all phases of design for a variety of renovation projects, including updates to existing structures Produce complete, accurate construction documents from start to finish using AutoCAD and Revit for lab/pharma and corporate interior renovation projects Participate in construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and supporting field-related inquiries Coordinate closely with clients, internal project teams, and external consultants to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met Support and guide junior team members in design development, technical detailing, and documentation standards Essential Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 6+ years of professional architectural experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu Proven ability to lead architectural projects from concept through completion Experience reviewing and processing submittals and related documentation Strong skills in a PA role, including interacting with project stakeholders and team members, collaborating with project designers, coordinating with consultants, and managing project staff and timelines Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.85 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
