Project Architect

Architect Job Description We are seeking an experienced architect to lead the production of deliverable documents throughout various phases of a project, demonstrating strong technical leadership and document coordination. This role requires a deep understanding of building codes, zoning, and planning regulations, and involves direct work with clients and contractors to ensure the original design intent is maintained. Responsibilities Lead the production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD, and CA phases of a project. Demonstrate strong technical leadership and document coordination. Ensure quality assurance of the design documents. Understand and apply building codes, zoning, and planning regulations. Supervise, direct work, and offer mentorship to project staff. Work directly with clients and contractors during all phases of the design and construction process. Facilitate coordination with the Project Designer and Project Manager to maintain the original design intent of the project. Essential Skills Licensed Architect with multi-family/mixed-use design experience. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite. Experience in construction documentation and administration. Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Architecture. Registered Architect. Experience in dynamic and engaging design creation. Work Environment The firm comprises 5 studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore, covering areas such as Housing, Interiors, Graphics & Signage, Commercial, and International projects. While you will have a 'home base' studio, you will have the opportunity to work across different projects and studios, providing a dynamic and varied work experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
