Schedule:
9x80 Hybrid•Mondays & Fridays Remote. Tuesday•Thursday is On-Site. Every other Friday is off.

Founded in 1966, we are an award-winning architecture, interiors, and planning firm with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Our practice spans custom residential estates, multifamily housing, hospitality, higher education, cultural, and mixed-use projects throughout California and beyond.

Our work is rooted in thoughtful design, environmental stewardship, collaboration, and creating places that inspire while standing the test of time.

Due to continued growth and several exciting new project wins, we are seeking experienced Project Architects to join our team in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. We are looking for leaders who can guide projects, mentor teams, collaborate closely with clients, and help deliver exceptional design across a variety of project types.

What You Will Be DoingLead projects through all phases from programming and conceptual design through construction administrationDirect and coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teamsPartner closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and firm leadershipLead project meetings, presentations, and design reviewsOversee project schedules, budgets, documentation quality, and deliverablesGuide and mentor Job Captains, Designers, and junior staffSupport design development while maintaining technical excellence and project executionEnsure compliance with California Building Code, accessibility requirements, and project standardsManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and responsivenessWhat You Need For This PositionBachelor's in Architecture6+ years of professional architectural experience2+ years serving as a Project Architect with demonstrated project leadership responsibilitiesExperience leading projects through the full project lifecycle from programming through construction administrationFluent in Revit (Required)Strong experience managing clients, consultants, and internal project teamsExcellent design, presentation, conceptual design, and design development skillsDemonstrated project management experience involving schedules, budgets, quality control, and project coordinationExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsStrong mentoring and team leadership abilitiesWorking knowledge of California Building Code and ADA/Accessibility requirementsProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp and/or RhinoAbility to successfully manage multiple concurrent projectsWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
