Job Title:
Registered Architect (classified projects) Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Registered Architect with extensive experience in Civic & Justice and/or Industrial Distribution Warehouse Facilities. This position involves leading projects through the full design and delivery lifecycle, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. The role also requires providing elevated technical leadership, including quality assurance/quality control, documentation standards, risk mitigation, and mentorship. Responsibilities Lead architectural design on complex civic and industrial projects. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors. Navigate stringent codes, federal standards, and agency reviews. Manage documentation through construction documents and construction phases. Support construction administration, respond to RFIs, and manage field coordination. Essential Skills Registered Architect (RA) in Georgia preferred, open to candidates from the East Coast. 7+ years of experience in Civic and/or Industrial Architectural Project Experience. Proficient in leading Civic and Industrial Projects. Proficient in Revit software. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university. Active Architecture license in at least one U.S. state (required), Georgia preferred. Experience with AutoCAD, Newforma, Adobe Creative Suite, Deltek, MS Project, and AutoCAD Architecture. Experience with civic, industrial, distribution center, warehouse, detention center, jail, prison, detention, secure facilities, and correctional facilities. Work Environment The work is based in Georgia with hybrid and remote flexibility available. The role involves working on project sites and coordinating with various team members and stakeholders. Dress code is business casual, and there is flexibility in schedules with work-from-home options based on client needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $81.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
