Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking an motivated Job Captain to join our East Providence, RI office with responsibilities including design and documentation for a broad range of project types, including K-12 Education, Higher Ed, Municipal, Federal, and Public Housing.

• Architectural design
• Researching products and materials
• Writing specifications
• Coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
• Problem-Solving at all stages of design
• Delegating tasks to other staff members as appropriate

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Architecture or a related field, or MS/MA in Architecture
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy and skilled in commercial or institutional construction documentation, and a good understanding of contract document constructability.
