Job Description
Designer - Architect Do you have an interest in design excellence and a passion for learning spaces? Our practice of architecture is Contextual. Modern. Timeless. Come join us at LLB Architects to make a positive impact in our community. We're specifically seeking highly talented, self-motivated individuals. LLB Architects is an award-winning mid-sized firm with offices in Pawtucket, RI, and Worcester, MA. We design a wide range of projects including libraries, higher education, K-12 schools, civic buildings, adaptive reuse, and multifamily and single-family residential buildings. Duties and Responsibilities Participate/coordinate during all phases of project delivery Produce, manage, and coordinate construction documentation Manage client and consultant communication Conduct quality control processes Project management Coordination of RIDE Necessity of School Construction project work Qualifications/Skill Set Professional design degree 4 or more years of related professional experience Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team in a highly collaborative environment Highly organized and adept with administrative tasks Excellent written and graphic communication skills Proficiency with Autodesk Revit Experience and familiarity with RIDE School Construction Regulations and Necessity of School Construction requirements is a plus. CCA experience is a plus RI or MA architect license and NCARB certification a plus Proficiency with Adobe CS Design Suite is a plus Our vibrant team-based focus is supported by relaxed studio environments in Pawtucket and Worcester where all can easily engage in design and mentor each other.
