⟵ Project Architect DK Studio Architecture - Austin, Texas
dkett@studiodk.com DK Studio is a small boutique architecture firm established in 2003, specializing in custom residential design. Our studio works across a diverse range of architectural styles and project types, creating thoughtful and highly personalized homes for our clients throughout Texas and beyond. We are currently seeking a full-time Project Architect to join our design studio located near downtown Austin. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and inspiring team member who enjoys working collaboratively and being involved in all phases of residential architecture and interior design. We are an in-office design studio. Position Overview This salaried, full-time position (40 hours per week) will involve participation in all levels of design and construction administration, from early conceptual design through project completion. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Architecture program
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Architectural license not required
Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD required
Experience with ArchiCAD is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Efficient work habits and time management
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Responsibilities Residential design development
3D modeling and visualization
Preparation of pricing sets and permit sets
Construction documents
Client presentation meetings
Construction administration
Coordination with consultants and contractors
