Job Description

Job Description Seeking a Project Architect (Job Captain) to manage multiple residential projects through various stages of the production workflow. This role focuses on construction documentation, permitting, and coordination across internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-volume projects on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. This is a production-focused role and does not include conceptual design.
  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including:
  •  Permit sets
  •  Construction documents (master sets, lot-specific plans, revisions)
  •  Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Operations) and external consultants
  •  Support design initiatives, including new options, styles, and architectural details
  •  Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  •  Review documents for code compliance and adherence to company standards
  •  Interpret construction codes and project requirements
  •  Maintain accurate project documentation, data, and permit tracking
  •  Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives

  •  Associates or Bachelor of Architecture Degree
  •  3-5+ years of experience in architecture, construction industry, residential or builder industry
  •  2+ years of Project management experience
  •  AutoCAD experience
  •  Experience collaborating with others including internal resources, consultants and remote teams
  •  Strong knowledge of construction documents
  •  Residential or builder experience
  •  Bluebeam Revu, M-Files, Sketch
UP, BIM360
  •  Aspiring to move up and manage both projects and people
