This role is open in the SLC and Boise offices and offers an exciting opportunity to shape inspiring spaces, manage complex projects, and collaborate with diverse teams. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for architecture, exceptional technical skills, and a proactive approach to project management. As a Project Architect, you will drive design excellence, ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations, and contribute to the growth of our firm's reputation for innovative solutions. Duties Lead the development of architectural designs, ensuring they meet client needs, budget constraints, and regulatory standards Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution Prepare detailed construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools Manage project schedules utilizing project management software and ensure timely completion of milestones Oversee construction administration activities including site visits, quality control, and resolving on-site issues Develop accurate construction estimates and budgets to support project planning and business development efforts Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships Utilize Bluebeam for document review and collaboration; employ NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination in complex projects Support interior design elements and renovation projects by integrating aesthetic concepts with technical specifications Contribute to business development initiatives by preparing proposals, presentations, and fostering client relationships Experience Proven experience as a Project Architect or similar role within an architectural firm or construction environment Extensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, zoning regulations, and contract administration Proficiency in drafting and modeling software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and CAD tools Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and budgeting practices in construction projects Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from design through construction phases Demonstrated ability in negotiation with clients, contractors, and vendors to achieve project goals Familiarity with renovation projects and interior design principles is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and present ideas clearly Join us if you are eager to bring visionary designs to life while managing the intricacies of complex projects.
