Job Description
Senior Project Architect! Overview We are seeking an experienced senior project architect to lead the development of fully coordinated architectural designs from concept through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-end commercial projects in hospitality, entertainment, gaming, food & beverage, and mixed-use environments while collaborating with an integrated design and construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong design leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design development, technical documentation, and construction coordination for multiple concurrent projects. Manage coordination between architectural, interior design, structural, MEP, and specialty consultants. Prepare and oversee comprehensive construction documents that comply with applicable building codes, life safety requirements, accessibility standards, and jurisdictional regulations. Assist with project specifications and technical documentation. Coordinate permitting efforts, agency reviews, and code compliance activities. Identify and resolve design, technical, and constructability challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate closely with estimating, procurement, and construction teams to align design intent with project budgets, schedules, and field execution. Conduct site visits, existing conditions surveys, and construction administration activities. Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support project teams during construction. Maintain project schedules, deliverables, and communication among stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience managing architectural design projects with complex scopes. Experience working on hospitality, entertainment, resort, gaming, commercial, or similarly sophisticated projects. Advanced proficiency in Revit (required). Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design software. Strong understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, life safety requirements, and commercial construction systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments. Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel occasionally for project meetings, site surveys, and coordination activities. Preferred Qualifications Architectural licensure preferred. Design-build project experience. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
