Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an Experienced Project Architect at either our Middleton (greater Madison area) or De Pere (greater Green Bay area), WI office. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architectural services for our various project types.
Responsibilities include:
Leading multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members Working closely with clients and design partners Mentoring junior staff Leading the design and coordination of project teams Perform predesign services such as feasibility, programming, and site analysis studies Building and maintaining strong team relationships Executing project workplans Scheduling and facilitating team meetings Developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) Other duties as assigned. A valid driver's license and travel (approximately 20%) will be required. The successful candidate must have the following: Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture from an accredited college or university At least 6 years of relevant experience Architectural license is required. The ideal candidate will have any/all the following: 10 or more years of relevant experience is preferred Experience preparing deliverables for each stage of project development Experience providing bidding and construction administration phase services
LEED AP, WELL
Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional NCARB-Certified is preferred Experience with state and local governments Experience with aviation facility projects is a plus Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors.
