• Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Asphalt Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our construction team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals. Private & Prevailing wage employment. Responsibilities Operate various asphalt equipment. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on roller machinery to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the operation of additional heavy equipment such as dump trucks, front loaders, and graders when needed. Conduct utility locating tasks to avoid damage to underground utilities during operations. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors. Requirements Proven experience in the Asphalt industry. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment, loaders, dozers, and graders is preferred. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for operating heavy machinery are a plus. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with construction work.
