3rd shift Asphalt Mixing Operator

Shift:
9:00 pm to 7:00 am Monday
  • Friday / Every other weekend
Location:
Tuscaloosa, AL PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Asphalt Mixing Operator. This is a full-time position in a manufacturing/production environment with inside and outside work.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and monitor asphalt mixing tanks. Responsible for an asphalt stillyard area. Ability to unload asphalt trucks. Ability to learn multiple jobs and perform them safely and effectively. Read and interpret detailed procedures and follow them accurately. Be able to work with limited supervision. Performs general housekeeping in designated or other assigned areas. Ability to take information from a daily production schedule and apply to production requirements. Support facility in meeting departmental goals in safety, productivity, quality and continuous improvement. Ability to identify problems, determine root cause and assist with resolution. Ability to work any shift, extended hours with minimal notice, and work weekends when needed. Any other duties or tasks as may be assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer skills. Must be able to stand and work for multiple hours at a time, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work alternating shifts, including weekends when needed. Must pass drug screen and background check Must have reliable transportation Strong work ethic Give PrideStaff a call
