ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY ESI
is hiring Asphalt Paving Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators (Asphalt Laydown Machine, Asphalt Compaction Equipment and Skid Steers) in our Colorado Springs CO. and Denver CO. Divisions. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years Asphalt Paving experience with an emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. This position will ensure and promote productivity, safety, delivery of a quality product and development of employees while protecting the company's interest and maintaining good relationships with clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to efficiently operate on one of the following equipment or equivalent to Motor Grader
  • CAT 140M and or 140H Strive for excellence in every project to achieve optimal results and goals.
Possess an ownership attitude and be willing to grow and mentor other team members. Recognize and communicate change of conditions to Foreman. At end of each shift, ensure job site is clean, flow lines are clear of debris and equipment is cleaned, greased, fueled and ready for next day shift. Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and cared for Communicate all maintenance, breakdowns, and damages to Foreman Report all accidents and damages immediately to your Foreman Enforce company policies and procedures Establish and maintain effective communication within our organization Competency Statement(s) Safety Awareness

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience:
2 years' experience in Asphalt Paving with emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. Ability to demonstrate success in operating Asphalt Paving Equipment.
Other Requirements:
Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.
