Paving Crew 26-00027

We are seeking experienced and reliable individuals to join our Paving Crew, which includes positions for Roller Operators, Paver Operators, and Screed Operators. The ideal candidates will have experience in asphalt paving operations, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality. Positions and Responsibilities Roller Operator Operate steel drum and pneumatic rollers to compact asphalt to desired smoothness and density Monitor surface texture and adjust rolling patterns to ensure quality Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance Work closely with the paving team to ensure proper rolling timing and sequence Paver Operator Operate asphalt paving machine to lay hot mix asphalt in a consistent, level, and smooth manner Control machine speed and material flow for optimal paving quality Coordinate with truck drivers and screed operator for continuous paving operations Inspect and maintain paving equipment for safe and efficient operation Screed Operator Control the screed on the paver to ensure proper thickness, width, and slope of the asphalt mat Monitor the quality of the asphalt surface behind the screed Adjust screed settings and levels for optimal results Work in coordination with the paver operator to maintain consistent output Qualifications Previous experience in asphalt paving preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong teamwork and communication skills Valid driver's license preferred (CDL a plus) Must work nights and weekends These roles are offering an hourly wage and includes PTO, medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(k), and more!
