In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective seal coats and striping on various pavement surfaces to ensure durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience will be essential in delivering high-quality results efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects that enhance community safety and functionality. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to prepare and maintain paving surfaces. Apply seal coating materials accurately across designated pavement areas to protect surfaces from weather and wear. Conduct striping using specialized equipment to mark parking lots, roads, and other paved areas clearly and precisely. Assist with site preparation, including utility locating and excavation tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Coordinate with team members to execute paving projects smoothly while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to ensure a secure working environment for everyone involved. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. Knowledge of paving techniques, striping processes, and pavement maintenance best practices. Strong background in construction site work with an understanding of utility locating and excavation safety. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment confidently and safely. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on pavement or roadwork projects. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods.
