Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Paving Operations Manager Florida Sealcoating LLC - Sanford, FL About Us Florida Sealcoating is one of Central Florida's leading commercial asphalt and pavement maintenance contractors. We specialize in asphalt paving, milling, sealcoating, striping, concrete, and large commercial projects throughout the state. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Paving Operations Manager to lead our paving division, manage crews, oversee equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. This is not a desk-only position. We need a leader who can manage people, solve problems, and take ownership of the entire paving operation. Responsibilities Operations Management Manage daily paving operations and schedules Coordinate crews, equipment, trucking, and materials Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously Conduct jobsite visits and quality inspections Manage production goals and profitability Crew Leadership Lead and develop paving crews Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, and workmanship Train employees on company procedures and safety standards Handle disciplinary issues when necessary Build a culture of accountability and teamwork Equipment & Fleet Oversee paving equipment maintenance and repairs Ensure proper equipment inspections are completed Coordinate with mechanics and vendors Minimize equipment downtime Financial Responsibilities Review job costs and production reports Monitor labor and material usage Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability Assist with budgeting and forecasting for paving operations Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA and company safety standards Conduct safety meetings and inspections Ensure all work zones are properly set up and secured Maintain compliance with DOT and company policies

Qualifications Required:

✔ 5+ years of asphalt paving experience ✔ 3+ years managing paving crews ✔ Strong knowledge of: Asphalt paving operations Milling and paving procedures Equipment operation and maintenance Production rates and job costing Commercial construction projects ✔ Ability to read plans and specifications ✔ Strong leadership and communication skills ✔ Valid driver's license with clean driving record ✔ Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary ✔ Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems quickly.
