This hands-on role involves operating milling machinery to remove asphalt pavement efficiently and safely, as well as transporting heavy equipment using lowboy trailers. Visit us at brixpaving.com. Key Responsibilities Operate asphalt milling machines with precision and safety. Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Transport heavy machinery and milling equipment using lowboy trailers. Communicate with project foremen and team members to ensure efficient workflow. Load and unload machinery safely and within DOT and company guidelines. Follow traffic control, environmental, and safety procedures on job sites. Work flexible hours to accommodate daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts. Contribute to a respectful and team-oriented work environment. Qualifications Prior experience in asphalt grinding operations required. Valid driver's license required. Class A CDL preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years' experience driving lowboy trailers preferred. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed. Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
