Grade Crew Foreman - Idaho Falls

Overview Lead as a Grade Crew Foreman with Suncore Construction & Materials! Suncore is hiring a skilled Grade Crew Foreman to oversee grading operations and operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, and dozers. In this role, you'll manage a team, execute project plans, and ensure precision in site preparation for paving and concrete work. Things You will Do Operate heavy equipment safely & efficiently including excavator, backhoe, loader, skid steer, dozer, etc. Cut fill, prep for paving, concrete prep, load trucks, and grade pads/floors etc. Teach and direct team members. Read and understand plans, instructions, and specifications to determine the work needed to get the job done. Measure, mark and record openings and distances to lay out areas where the work will be done. Grease, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment, using grease guns, oilcans, and hand tools. Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Experience operating a Road Grader is great but not required. At least 2 years of experience operating a loader, dozer, skid steer, excavator, etc. At least 2 years of experience managing a crew and job's Ability to read plans, grades stakes and operate trimble GPS Ability to bend, sit for extended periods, and work in the heat. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Attention and commitment to safety. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Benefits At Suncore, we value people.
