Asphalt Equipment Operator (Traveling) At Keeley Companies , we are committed to building careers, developing our people, and fostering a strong, family-oriented culture. We are seeking experienced Asphalt Equipment Operators to join our National Paving Team. This position plays a critical role in paving operations and requires frequent travel to projects throughout the Midwest. Primary Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate asphalt paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, milling machines, and other related equipment. Support paving crews by maintaining consistent production and helping achieve project schedules and quality standards. Monitor equipment performance during operations and communicate any issues to supervisors. Follow grade, alignment, and paving specifications to ensure quality workmanship. Assist with site setup, traffic control measures, and daily operational activities as needed. Work closely with crew members to maintain a safe, productive, and team-oriented jobsite. Conduct basic pre- and post-operation equipment inspections. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment in a construction environment. Proven experience with asphalt paving operations, including roadway, parking lot, or site development projects. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Ability to work effectively as part of a traveling paving crew. Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Midwest. Valid driver's license required; CDL A/B preferred but not required. Why Join Keeley?
