• _ •What you'll be doing as an

Asphalt Paver Operator :

• + •

Machine Operation:

• Operating the paver to spread asphalt uniformly while maintaining proper speed and line. +

• Quality Control:

• Monitoring the screed for proper mat thickness, compaction, and surface smoothness. +

• Maintenance:

• Conducting daily safety checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the paver. +

• Teamwork:

• Coordinating with dump truck drivers and ground crew for a continuous, safe workflow. O

• Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), Weekends
• Job requirements:
• + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady +

• Experience:

• 1-3 years of verifiable experience in asphalt paving or heavy equipment operation is generally required. +

• Skills:

• Proficiency in operating paver controls, understanding asphalt mix types, and maintaining proper paving speed. +

• Physical Ability:

• Ability to work in high heat, stand for long periods, and lift heavy materials (50-100 lbs). +

• Licenses:

• A valid driver's license is required; a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is often required for transporting equipment. +

• Education:
