Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Paving Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy paving machinery to create smooth, durable roadways and surfaces that meet project specifications. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project completion while maintaining safety standards on bustling construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of construction equipment, including concrete mixers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks, contributing to large-scale infrastructure projects with precision and professionalism. Duties Operate paving machines such as asphalt pavers and concrete pavers to lay surfaces according to project plans and specifications Manage auxiliary equipment including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and loaders to support paving operations Prepare the construction site by setting up forms, rebar installation, and ensuring proper alignment for paving work Operate excavators and dump trucks for material transportation, excavation, and site preparation tasks Conduct routine maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with concrete finishing tasks to achieve a smooth surface finish after paving is completed Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to maintain a secure work environment at all times Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks Hands-on experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and pumping techniques Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards in commercial or infrastructure projects Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery for troubleshooting and minor repairs Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating or transporting large vehicles on-site Prior experience working with concrete mixers, rebar installation, and site preparation is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction processes combined with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness Join us in building lasting infrastructure while advancing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment!
