Asphalt Reclaimer Operator

Asphalt Reclaimer Operator Craig Bardson Excavating Inc., an excavating and grading contractor located in Albany, MN, is now taking applications for a seasonal Reclaimer Operator. Primary responsibility is to effectively operate a Asphalt Reclaimer, specifically a WR240i machine. This is a specialized skilled position for a machine that pulverizes & blends asphalt and base material to create a recyclable product used in Construction Projects. Individual will also do regular machine maintenance, changing bits & other job related duties. Job requires early mornings and possibly some overnights. Pay listed below and can vary depending on experience. Hours may fluctuate due to project and work-load variability and seasonality. •This position is Non-Union•

Ability to drive a tractor/trailer safely & confidently. Valid Drivers License (Class A required) Acceptable Driving Record Current health Card Willingness to travel Must pass a pre-employment drug test Ability to work long hours Basic reading and writing skills Ability to work under stressful situations Ability to kneel for extended periods (up to 20 minutes) to perform tasks such as changing bits is required. Ability to bend and work beneath equipment and safely climb onto machinery is required.

Related construction experience preferred. Experience running heavy equipment or a Asphalt Reclaimer is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate to effectively operate a Reclaimer. Must have experience driving a tractor/trailer Will be required to transport machine to jobs/projects
