Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Demolition Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment on demolition and construction sites and be committed to completing projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment for demolition projects. Perform structural, interior, and selective demolition work. Safely dismantle buildings and structures according to project plans. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Load, sort, and move demolition debris and materials. Work closely with site supervisors and laborers to ensure efficient project completion. Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific procedures. Identify and report equipment issues or site hazards. Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of demolition equipment operating experience. Proficiency operating excavators with demolition attachments such as hydraulic breakers, grapples, and shears. Strong understanding of demolition techniques and site safety requirements. Valid driver's license required; CDL is an asset. Experience with asbestos abatement or environmental remediation projects is an asset. Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a team environment.
