Duties Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and surface preparation to ensure high-quality results Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks under supervision Support the setup of construction sites by unloading materials and preparing tools and equipment Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or paving work begins Help with site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations and report any hazards or incidents promptly Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines Skills Experience operating heavy equipment including backhoes, graders, and dump trucks Knowledge of paving techniques and construction site procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina Strong understanding of utility locating processes and safety standards Familiarity with construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Prior construction or paving experience is highly desirable; certification in Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your hard work builds the foundation for community growth!
