This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Asphalt Foreman will coordinate with project management teams, supervise crews, and ensure adherence to all safety and construction regulations. Duties Lead and supervise asphalt installation crews, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship on construction sites Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans Manage daily operations on-site, including material handling, equipment usage, and safety compliance in accordance with OSHA standards Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure adherence to project specifications and schematics Oversee budgeting activities related to asphalt materials, labor costs, and equipment usage to stay within project financial parameters Collaborate with project managers on contracts, change orders, and project scope adjustments using ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation Experience Proven heavy construction site experience with a focus on asphalt paving or roadwork projects Supervising experience leading teams of construction workers or subcontractors in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid or similar software Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Demonstrated understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety Experience with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera is highly preferred Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery and equipment used in asphalt paving projects Join our team as an Asphalt Foreman and play a key role in building durable infrastructure while advancing your career in the construction industry.
