Moate Industries is seeking experienced Asphalt Crew Personnel to support our paving and pavement maintenance operations. We are hiring both Asphalt Laborers and Asphalt Operators to build a high-performance crew. We are not looking to train from zero. You must bring real field experience, understand how paving crews operate, and be able to contribute immediately. If you take pride in your work and can keep up with a production crew, this is a strong opportunity. Job Responsibilities Asphalt Laborer (Minimum 2 Years Experience) Support paving operations by assisting crew members with daily tasks Rake, shovel, lute, and assist with asphalt placement Prepare job sites including cleaning, prepping, and setup Assist with traffic control and jobsite safety Support equipment operators and maintain crew productivity Perform general labor duties as needed Asphalt Operator (Minimum 5 Years Experience) Operate paving equipment including pavers, rollers, skid steers, and other machinery Maintain proper grade, slope, and compaction standards Work closely with crew to maintain consistent production flow Adjust equipment operation based on jobsite conditions Ensure quality and efficiency throughout paving operations Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols and procedures Maintain awareness of surroundings and crew members Ensure work is performed safely and professionally

Job Requirements Asphalt Laborer:

Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt or construction labor Ability to perform physically demanding work Understanding of basic paving operations

Asphalt Operator:

Minimum 5 years of experience operating asphalt equipment Strong understanding of paving processes and equipment Ability to operate safely and efficiently without constant supervision Compensation & Benefits $23.00 - $44.00 per hour (depending on experience and role) Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off
