In this role, you will oversee the operation of heavy equipment and coordinate crew activities to transform raw land into usable space. Your expertise in construction site management and heavy machinery operation will drive project success, ensuring timely completion while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead hands-on work with a variety of equipment and contribute to large-scale land development projects. Responsibilities Lead and supervise land clearing operations, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Operate a range of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders,rotobec excavators,stump grinders,forestry mulchers,chippers Coordinate with team members to plan daily work schedules and allocate equipment effectively Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle Assist in site setup, including marking boundaries and preparing the land for subsequent construction phases Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and team members to report progress and address any issues promptly Experience Previous experience managing or working on construction sites with a focus on land clearing or earthworks Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing heavy equipment operation and construction sites Ability to read technical manuals and interpret site plans or blueprints is a plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are eager to lead projects from start to finish. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
