May 15, 2026 : Paving Foreman Greer SC Peak has an immediate opening for an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman for construction projects based out of the Greer SC area. Interested applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in asphalt paving. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. This a well established client, with outstanding benefits and compensation. The Foreman supervises a construction crew and schedules work for the crew. Assist the crew wherever help is needed, including carrying out hard labor. The abilities to work in extreme temperatures, to stand and walk for long periods of time, and to lift heavy objects are essential. Foreman works under the supervision of the Project Manager.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises all phases of a paving operation such as maintenance of equipment, employees, and distribution of product. Responsible for implementing environmental, health and safety regulations and policies (local, state and government). Responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment. Must keep equipment serviced, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping. Responsible for planning, organizing and coordination of daily activities and work assignments for your team. Responsible for deliveries, productions, record keeping, creating and submitting reports using email and fax with Word and Excel. Must have an understanding of the dangers involved in an interstate operation. Must have a basic knowledge of abilities and limitations in all applications. Ability to recognize potential problems before breakdowns occur. Must have the ability to work safely and follow the policies and procedures of the company.QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 5-7 years of experience in Asphalt PavingLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Job Requirements:
Clean 10 year MVR Possess working knowledge of leadership management skills Lead lower skilled employees in safe productive work procedures Conduct AM and PM briefings Maintain vehicles, equipment tools in good working order Comply with reporting procedures Significant paving/construction knowledge Manage supplies, materials and equipment Read and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work Coordinate essential personnel on-site for the project Submit resume or work history to this job posting and our Recruiter will contact qualified candidates immediately for an interview.
