Full Job Description Expectations:

As part of the Paving Team you are expected to perform assigned responsibilities, complete general tasks assigned by Foreman, work safely with your focus on the tasks that need performed, speak up when others are performing work that is unsafe or lacks quality, do your part to perform any portion of work that will contribute to the overall quality of the product, be a part of the solution daily that will assist in the success of the crew.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining jobsite cleanliness.
• Understand safe and unsafe locations on jobsite.
• Maintenance (to include cleaning) of all hand tools i.e. rakes, lutes, shovels, and spray cans ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Identify and fix mat issues.
• Sweeping and cleaning the area in front of the paver.
• Building a launchpad for the paver at the beginning of the pull.
• Assisting the screed operator.
• Shoveling material out of the end gate
• Get daily tools from truck to jobsite at the begin of shift
• Return daily tools to proper storage location at the end of the shift. General tasks may include but not limited to:
• Working as a Flagger to direct motorists away from the work zone.
• Transporting water to the rollers, power broom, and plate compactor.

Set-up and maintenance of erosion control Loading and unloading of materials Shoveling dirt, gravel and asphalt Set-up and maintenance of traffic control aids Posted salary or pay compensation ranges are approximate and dependent on applicable experience and qualifications. Upper ranges are flexible.

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Upper Range is flexible with experience.

Bonuses Schedule:

Typically Monday through Friday 7:15 thru job completion, typically between 4:00 and 5:00
