Grinder/land clearing operator

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Grinder/Land Clearing Operator and play a vital role in transforming landscapes through efficient land clearing and heavy equipment operation. We currently run 14 grinders in our fleet. 4 Diamond Z horizontal grinders, 5 Vermeer horizontal grinders, and 5 Vermeer tub grinders. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as grinders, excavators, and loaders to clear land and perform site preparation tasks Conduct land clearing activities including tree clearing and grinding Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal functioning during operations Assist with site cleanup efforts to maintain a safe and organized work environment Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as grinders, excavators, loaders Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to land clearing or construction sites is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and site work Physical stamina to handle long hours of outdoor labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Valid certification or licensing for heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities are available for qualified candidates Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
