In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery to move earth, grade surfaces, and prepare construction sites for various projects. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and precision on-site, contributing directly to the successful completion of infrastructure and development initiatives. Duties Operate bulldozers (dozers) and other heavy equipment such as loaders, and excavators to perform earthmoving tasks. Prepare construction sites by leveling ground, digging trenches, and clearing debris in accordance with project specifications. Assist with paving operations by grading surfaces and ensuring proper surface preparation for asphalt or concrete placement. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and project progress. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Experience Proven experience operating bulldozers (dozers) in a construction setting is required. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations is required. Prior experience working with Caterpillar machinery and strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of construction materials and techniques related to grading, paving, and earthmoving projects will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
