Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asphalt Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic asphalt maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing asphalt surfaces to ensure safety, durability, and optimal performance. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality sealcoating and maintenance services on various residential and commercial sites, contributing to the longevity and integrity of roadways, parking lots, and other paved areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and be part of a team committed to excellence in infrastructure development. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, pumps, crack melters, infrared equipmen, skid steers, and forklift to perform asphalt maintenance tasks efficiently. Conduct sealcoating, crack filling, infrared repair, and line striping operations and finishing to meet project specifications. Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist in job site setup, site clearing, and debris removal to facilitate smooth project progression. Collaborate with team members to execute maintenance schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly on-site. Follow safety protocols diligently while working around construction zones and heavy machinery. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of asphalt maintenance techniques and construction site procedures. Ability to lift 50lb. Valid drivers license. Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and practices. Hands-on experience with site preparation and maintenance tasks. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and adhering to project timelines.
