Job Description We are seeking several Field Service Boiler/Burner/Controls Technicians. Experience is a major plus; however, we are also willing to train apprentices. This position primarily requires a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Candidates should take pride in their work and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. As factory-authorized service technicians, we maintain the highest levels of professionalism and technical capability to support our equipment. Delivering world-class customer service and efficiency is our primary goal. Essential Functions Hands-on combustion tuning and analysis, along with troubleshooting skills to determine and adjust a full range of burners from .5 to 30 MMBTU input Factory start-up and commissioning of various commercial and industrial thermal equipment including hydronic boilers, high- and low-pressure steam systems, firetube and industrial watertube boilers, steam turbines, heat exchangers, and snow melt systems Conducting boiler room analyses to identify opportunities for improved reliability and efficiency Understanding of hot water and steam boiler support equipment including deaerators, feed systems, blowdown systems, economizers, and waste heat recovery equipment Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation Burner upgrades and conversions Advanced burner control upgrades and conversions Implementation of energy efficiency measures Technical report writing
