Job Description

EXCEL Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Boilermaker to join our team. As a Boilermaker, you will play a key role in fabricating, assembling, and maintaining key piping systems, and other metal structures for our industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble metal components to construct and industrial piping systems. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute projects. Identify materials and layout job from prints; basic layout on trays; install valves, traps and strainers; introduction to piping systems; some pipefitting abilities; manually cut pipe; and basic rigging. Utilize cutting tools to create and assemble parts with precision. Perform inspections and tests to ensure the quality and integrity of the constructed systems. Collaborate closely with other tradespeople and team members to meet project deadlines. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on boilers and associated equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Boilermaker in industrial construction. Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. In-depth understanding of piping construction codes, regulations, and industry standards. Knowledge of towers/columns, exchangers; repair and replace trays; knowledge of the bundle pulling process; repair and replace boiler tubes. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Physical fitness to manage the physical demands of the job. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, OSHA 30) are a plus.
