We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Boilermaker within our Pasadena Plant located in Pasadena, TX .
Essential Job Duties:
Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority. Must have the ability to distinguish and understand the different types of valves and actuators Working knowledge of heat exchangers and how to disassemble, pressure test and reassemble various types of heat exchangers Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans Attach rigging, assist crane operator, welders Detect problems with machines and equipment Must be able to rig and move heavy steel Must be able to work in confined spaces, work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work from platforms Must have good manual dexterity and experience using industrial hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities listed are representative and not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED A minimum of 5 years' experience in Boilermaker activities in an industrial environment NCCER Certification prior to employment Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant Ability to read, speak, and write English Have a valid driver's license required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team. Additional Desired Qualifications Good working knowledge of SAP. Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
