Job Description
Summary Experienced Mason and Hardscape Construction Professional with hands-on expertise in building patios, retaining walls, walkways, and concrete structures. Skilled in reading blueprints, performing site layout, operating heavy equipment, and solving field challenges to keep projects on schedule. Strong background in excavation, grading, concrete placement and finishing, block installation, and coordinating with crews to deliver high-quality residential and commercial projects. Built segmental block and concrete retaining walls, ensuring proper drainage, reinforcement, and long-term structural integrity. Read and interpreted blueprints, site plans, elevations, and specifications to accurately complete projects. Performed site layout using string lines, lasers, and grade stakes to maintain project accuracy and elevation requirements. Operated excavators, skid steers, loaders, plate compactors, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently. Installed concrete forms, reinforcement, and foundations for retaining walls, patios, and structural applications. Poured, finished, and cured concrete surfaces including sidewalks, slabs, footings, and decorative concrete features. Adapted quickly to changing site conditions and resolved construction challenges while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
