In this role, you will assist skilled masons and landscapers in executing a variety of outdoor and structural projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on involvement will be vital in supporting tasks such as concrete work, masonry installation, and site preparation, contributing to beautiful, durable outdoor spaces and structural renovations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and masonry while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire. Duties Assist masons and landscapers with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring to ensure precise application and quality results Support rebar installation, metal stud framing, and other structural components according to schematics and blueprints Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely to aid in construction tasks Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up forms, mixing materials, and ensuring safety compliance Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications for renovation or restoration projects Aid in tile laying, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, roofing, and other masonry-related activities Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when necessary for excavation or site preparation Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly Experience Previous experience working on construction sites or in masonry-related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Needs to be experienced and proficient in property maintenance such as lawn mowing, shrub trimming, and all other yard work tasks. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, is desirable Must be reliable on job sights with no supervision. Must have license and ability to drive truck.
