Commercial construction Caulking Demolition Full Job Description Brickworks is hiring an experienced Commercial Mason to support our masonry restoration, structural repair, and waterproofing work across metro Detroit. This role is for a skilled field professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, works safely, solves problems in the field, and wants to be part of a company that is growing fast and raising the standard. Our commercial work includes masonry restoration, tuckpointing, brick replacement, structural repairs, waterproofing, caulking, façade work, and building envelope restoration. What you'll do: Perform commercial tuckpointing, brick replacement, and masonry restoration work Complete structural masonry repairs and rebuilds Perform demolition, prep work, grinding, cutting, and mortar installation Support waterproofing, sealant, and building envelope repair scopes Work from scaffolding, lifts, ladders, and other commercial access equipment Read scopes, understand site direction, and execute work correctly Maintain clean, organized, safe jobsites Communicate field conditions, issues, and progress with supervisors Help protect quality, schedule, and jobsite standards Who fits this role: Takes pride in quality workmanship Shows up consistently and works with urgency Can solve field problems without creating new ones Works safely because they understand the risks, not because someone is watching Communicates well with team members and leadership Wants steady work with a company that expects high standards Has leadership potential or already helps guide less experienced crew members What we're looking for: 3+ years of masonry experience required Commercial masonry or restoration experience strongly preferred Experience with tuckpointing, brick replacement, mortar repair, and restoration work Comfortable working at heights and on active commercial jobsites Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work daily Reliable transportation and dependable attendance OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus Waterproofing, sealant, swing stage, scaffold, or historic restoration experience is a plus Why Brickworks:
