Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Stone Mason Laborer and be a vital part of creating durable, aesthetically pleasing structures. In this role, you will assist skilled masons and construction professionals in building, restoring, and maintaining stonework projects. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects, from historic restorations to modern hardscape installations. This paid position offers hands-on experience in masonry techniques while fostering your growth in the construction industry. Duties Assist with stone setting, placement, and alignment according to project plans and schematics Operate hand tools and power tools such as chisels, hammers, drills, and saws to cut, shape, and install stone materials Support concrete forming processes for foundations, walls, or decorative features Help with rebar installation to reinforce concrete structures and ensure stability Prepare work sites by mixing concrete, cleaning surfaces, and organizing materials for efficient workflow Assist with masonry tasks including stucco application, tile laying, plastering, and trim carpentry for restoration or renovation projects Operate heavy equipment as needed for lifting or moving large stone or concrete components safely Support the installation of metal stud framing, roofing components, or other structural elements as required Maintain safety standards on site by using proper caulking techniques and adhering to OSHA guidelines Experience Prior construction site experience with exposure to masonry or concrete work preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable Knowledge of masonry techniques including stone setting, concrete finishing, rebar installation, stucco application, and tile laying is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations Join us to build lasting structures while developing your skills in masonry and construction!
