Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Mason / Masonry professional to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of masonry tasks, building and restoring structures with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. Responsibilities Construct, repair, and restore walls, facades, and other structures using various masonry materials such as brick, stone, concrete blocks, stucco, and tile. Work with brick, stone, concrete blocks, and other structural materials to build, restore, and repair high-quality structures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Prepare surfaces by mixing mortar, concrete, or plaster; set forms for concrete pouring; and ensure proper alignment and leveling of structures. Install rebar reinforcement in concrete forms for added strength and durability. Operate hand tools (trowels, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and efficiently to complete tasks. Apply finishing techniques such as concrete polishing, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve a polished look. Cut, shape, and dress masonry materials using hand tools and modern power tools safely Collaborate closely with, project managers, site supervisors and crew members to solve layout challenges Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material quantities and project timelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring all tools are properly cared for Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of professional masonry experience (or completion of a formal apprenticeship). Deep understanding of masonry techniques, tools, and material behaviors. Excellent communication skills and a team-first, positive attitude. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday Commitment to strict job site safety standards (OSHA 10 certification is a major plus).Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to navigate Omaha-area job sites.
