Job Description
Experienced Mason in Las Vegas We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. Your work will require precision and attention to detail to ensure that all projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Construct new structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using brick, stone, concrete blocks or other materials
- Repair and maintain existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Read blueprints or plans to determine layout and specifications for each project
- Use various tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and saws to cut and shape materials
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard ratios for each project
- Ensure that all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with other construction workers such as carpenters and electricians to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Attention to detail and ability to work precisely
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Must be able to lift heavy materials
