Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stone Installation Helper and be a vital part of transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled stone installers in the preparation, handling, and installation of various stone materials, including granite, marble, and quartz. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction and fabrication while contributing to high-quality projects that enhance both residential and commercial environments. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will drive your success in this fast-paced, rewarding field. Duties Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of stone materials using hand tools and power tools Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar or adhesives, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Support experienced installers in measuring, cutting, and shaping stone according to project specifications using blueprint reading and schematics Help with surface preparation such as leveling, caulking, and sealing to ensure proper installation Operate heavy equipment when trained and certified to do so for tasks like lifting or moving large stone slabs Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials, and ensuring safety standards are met on-site Collaborate with team members on various tasks including framing, masonry, tile laying, or restoration projects as needed Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction safety practices is highly desirable Knowledge of construction management principles such as estimating, inspection, or project coordination is a plus Basic understanding of related trades like plumbing, electrical work, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, or concrete finishing will enhance your versatility Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately is essential Previous exposure to fabrication techniques such as glass installation or fixture installation is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating beautiful spaces through skilled craftsmanship!
