Primary Responsibilities Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Prepare job sites, including setting up scaffolding and mixing mortar. Lay bricks, blocks, or other masonry units with accuracy and attention to alignment. Cut and shape materials to fit corners, arches, and irregular spaces. Finish joints, clean excess mortar, and ensure structural integrity. Perform masonry repairs and repointing work as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

• As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, partitions, fireplaces, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials.
• Install new CMU, brick and stone.

Requirements:

• Must either be a member or be willing and able to join the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union (BAC) Local 23.
• 3-5 years' experience.
• Must reside within 60 miles of Cleveland, Ohio (e.g., Brunswick, Massillon, Parma, Akron, Niles, -- the greater Cleveland area).
• Must possess and maintain the following certifications: A valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID.

A current drug-free card. OSHA 10 certification or 30 hours training. (

Note:

These certifications can be obtained through union training facilities upon joining the BAC. )

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
