Duties Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail Prepare surfaces by mixing mortar and applying it evenly for secure bonding Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate placement Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels, as well as power tools like drills and saws Install rebar reinforcement and assist with concrete forming for foundations and structures Perform finishing tasks including concrete smoothing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry Assist with renovation projects by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new masonry work Use heavy equipment when necessary for lifting or moving heavy materials safely on-site Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure construction environment Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with masonry or related trades preferred but not required; training provided for motivated helpers Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, roofing, and restoration work is a plus Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute detailed project plans Hands-on experience operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Understanding of construction estimating procedures is advantageous for those interested in project planning roles Strong commitment to safety standards and teamwork in fast-paced construction environments Join us if you're passionate about building lasting structures!
