Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including experience with various materials and techniques. This role involves working on diverse construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Construct and repair structures using bricks, blocks, stones, and other materials. Perform concrete forming tasks for foundations, walls, and other structural elements. Apply stucco finishes to surfaces as required by project specifications. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for transporting materials or assisting in construction tasks. Estimate material requirements and costs for projects to assist in budgeting. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction estimating practices. Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus. Knowledge of working with roofs and stucco applications is advantageous. Experience in concrete forming processes is preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
