Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stone Installer to join our team. In this role, you will install marble, granite, quartzite, quartz and other natural and engineered stone surfaces for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients. Responsibilities Install countertops, full-height backsplashes, vanities, fireplaces, showers, and stone panels with precision Read and interpret fabrication drawings, templates, cut sheets, and project plans Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure installations meet project specifications Perform layout, leveling, shimming, seam work, caulking, sink mounting, and detailed finishing Safely operate installation tools and equipment (A-frames, seam setters, polishers, grinders, suction cups, clamps, etc.) Perform on-site problem-solving and field adjustments when needed Verify materials and hardware before installation Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety protocols Document installation progress and report any issues to management as needed Qualifications 3-5+ years of professional stone installation experience preferred Strong knowledge of marble, granite, quartz, and other stone products Experience with seam work, leveling, sink installation, mounting, and finish details Physically able to lift and maneuver heavy stone pieces (75+ lbs) safely Skilled with professional stone installation tools and equipment Ability to read and understand technical drawings, templates, and cut sheets Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred but Not Required Experience in a stone fabrication shop environment Experience driving box trucks Forklift certification Knowledge of countertop repair and service work Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Paid holidays and PTO Opportunities for growth within the company
