Work is primarily interior commercial construction across a variety of building types. Key Responsibilities Interpret and execute work based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform layout, framing, structural work, and finish carpentry Install doors, windows, drywall, cabinetry, stairs, and other fixtures Support project planning, layout verification, and material coordination Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to safety standards Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results Qualifications Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent field experience Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools Proven ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship Physically capable of working in demanding construction environments Dependable and team-oriented with strong communication skills Compensation and Benefits $30+ per hour, depending on experience Weekly payroll Per diem available for qualifying travel assignments Medical, dental, and vision insurance (75% employer-paid) 401(k) eligibility after one year Sick leave per Alaska statute Why Criterion General Criterion General delivers projects through a collaborative, partnership-driven approach, bringing together owners, contractors, and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
